Tours to France

DAY 1

Arrive at your accommodations. Pick-up at Toulouse airport or Carcassonne airport available upon request. Welcome dinner and introduction.

DAY 2

Set your intention . After breakfast, we depart for Rennes-le-Chateau to the famous Mary Magdalene church, the Abbe Sauniere museum, Magdala Tower, and the grounds. Lunch is a dining experience at a local restaurant, Marie Denarnaud’s garden. There are bookstores to peruse here and magical spots. Time permitting,  hike to an initiation site and return to integrate the day’s events. Experience the energy of the region.

DAY 3

After breakfast,  discover the walled city of Carcassonne, gateway to Cathar country.  On a later excursion, drive to Cathar castle Montsegur and climb to the chateau. Montsegur is the last Cathar stronghold and possessed a great treasure, removed before the final siege. Discover more about this treasure ..and other treasures  … ( visit to the Church , the Cathar Museum, and the town as alternative to climb). Enjoy the beautiful landscape. Time for integration and stretching.

DAY 4

Market day is a must see and gathering place to enjoy the sights and sounds as well as wonderful things to eat and drink.  Relax over lunch and enjoy some free time.   Afternoon itinerary offers swimming at Rennes-les-Bains Thermal Baths, Hot or Cold Springs, visit to the Fountain of Love or Magdalene pools.

DAY 5

After breakfast, walk the trail to the magnificent Gorges de Galamus with its Magdalene cave and then head for famous Mt. Bugarach, majestic portal and historical community described in Clare Heartsong’s book “Anna- Voices of the Magdalenes” . Walk on the mountain or relax at the lake  to experience Bugarach.

DAY 6

Alet-les-Bains .  Explore the town, the Abbey, Our Lady of Alet, and Nostradamus house, then drive up to the town of St.Salvayre and its church and vistas.  Next, on to the pilgrimage site and the Black Madonna at Notre Dame de Marceille in Limoux.

DAY 7-  Nature walk at Sougraigne Salt Springs or Rennes-les-Bains. Evening cultural event.

Day 8-

Breakfast and departure by noon to Toulouse or Carcassonne with fond farewells.  Days may be interchangeable and slightly different due to weather or Spirit guidance. Airport transfers available upon request.
