Deepening previous experiences is the magic of this spiritual journey to France in the Languedoc. Today, in Rennes-les-Bains, site of ancient Roman baths and places Mary Magdalene was said to do her healing, I had a meditative walk to the Throne of Isis and a direct path to the Trembling Rock and adjacent circle of stones. A beautiful interaction occurred between the the stone spirits and me.
Later, in St. Michael’s church in Esperaza, a place I’ve been many times, I read that there was an original statue of John the Baptist and an original architectural arc in the back room. I was able to walk to that area which I had never seen before. It felt as if the entire power of the church was held in that back room.
